Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about enrolling at Go Christian Academy, and what makes us, us.

Enrollment & Admissions
I'm new to GCA. What steps are involved in enrolling my child?+

Start by filling out an inquiry form on our website; a staff member will contact you with next steps. Next, complete the online application. All new students take an entry assessment and shadow one of our students for a day to learn about the school. Once the application process is complete, students are approved to enroll by the admissions committee, and parents are sent the link to enroll.

How do I re-enroll a student who already attends GCA?+

Log in to the FACTS Family Portal with your username and password (use the reset link if needed), open the left-side navigation menu, click Apply/Enroll, then choose Enrollment/Re-enrollment.

We're a current family. Can we enroll a sibling before open enrollment?+

Yes. A family that already has a child enrolled at GCA can enroll a sibling beginning November 19, and you do not have to wait for new-family open enrollment, which starts January 22.

What is the timeline for enrollment?+

Current families can re-enroll from November 19 to April 30. New families can submit an application starting January 22. The entire enrollment process, including any financial-aid application, must be completed by April 30. Once accepted, you'll receive confirmation that your child is officially enrolled.

What fees do we pay when applying and enrolling?+

The new-family application fee is $25. Enrollment fees, Elementary & Middle School: $100 (Nov 19–Dec 19, returning families only), $200 (Dec 20–Apr 30), $250 (summer). Preschool: $50 (Nov 19–Dec 19, returning families only), $100 (Dec 20–Apr 30), $150 (summer).

For preschool, how do I choose a 3-day or 5-day program?+

When enrolling a preschool child, FACTS will ask you to choose the number of days you'd like your child to attend: a 3-day class or a 5-day class.

Is there financial aid?+

Yes. A limited amount of need-based financial aid is available, and you must apply to receive it. Apply under the Admissions tab → Financial Aid. There is a $40 application fee, and you'll create a username and password separate from your FACTS account sign-in.

Is there a deadline for financial aid?+

Yes. Funds are distributed while they last, and the window closes once all money is awarded. If funds remain, your application must be completed and submitted by April 30. No financial aid is awarded after April 30.

Are there scholarship opportunities?+

GCA accepts three scholarships for eligible students: the Georgia Promise Scholarship and the Pay It Forward Scholarship (both designed to help with private-school costs for families currently in failing school districts), and the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (for students with a current IEP).
